Lochie Higgins
Physiotherapist
Founder – Kin Endurance | Physiotherapist & Endurance Coach
Lochie is a Brisbane based physiotherapist and endurance coach with a particular interest in helping runners, cyclists, swimmers and anyone who trains to stay healthy, perform well and continue doing the things they enjoy.
Alongside his clinical experience, Lochie has developed a strong focus on endurance performance, strength and conditioning, and the management of running and training related injuries. He has completed further education in areas including tendon and bone stress Injuries, strength and conditioning, running injuries, RED-S, dry needling and youth development.
His approach is centred around understanding why an injury has occurred and building a clear pathway back to training. Rather than simply treating symptoms, Lochie combines hands-on treatment when appropriate with progressive strength, movement and load-based rehabilitation to help people build confidence and capacity.
Lochie has a strong connection to endurance sport himself, with a background in running, cycling, swimming and strength training. He enjoys working with people across all levels, from those returning from injury through to athletes looking to improve their performance.
He places a high value on education, progressive exercise and giving people the tools to better understand their body and training. His goal is simple: help people rehab well, perform better and feel like they belong in their training community.
